Datuk Roslan Hj Tik

Datuk Roslan Hj Tik has over 31 years of experience in the capital market industry spanning from credit rating background to business origination and execution.  He had served Mayban Finance Bhd briefly in 1993 prior to serving Rating Agency Malaysia as an analyst for close to three (3) years before pioneering the analytical team of Malaysian Rating Corporation (MARC) in August 1996.  Subsequent to his almost eight (8) year credit stint, he served KAF Discounts Bhd (now known as KAF IB) as the General Manager of its Capital Market Department for close to three (3) years.  He subsequently joined RHB IB in 2004 establishing its full-fledged investment banking business and thereafter to Kenanga IB in May 2011.
 
He is currently responsible for all investment banking transaction for both conventional and Islamic business with products ranging from fixed-income securities, M&A, equity & corporate finance to corporate banking and private equity.  In his present capacity, he serves as a Director on the Board of K&N Kenanga Holdings Berhad, Kenanga Investment Corporation Ltd, Sri Lanka 9KICL) and Rakuten Trade Sdn Bhd.  He is also the Chairman of Kenanga Capital Sdn Bhd as well as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Kenanga Private Equity Sdn Bhd. 
 
A licensed person under the CMSA, Datuk Roslan graduated from the De Montfort University, Leicester, UK with a BSc in Combined Studies (Accounting and Law).  He attended INSEAD's Business School (Singapore Campus) for a short-term Leadership Management Programme in March 2007 and 2008, harnessing his leadership skill.  He later became one of the facilitators/trainers under the Financial Services Talent Enrichment Programme initiated by BNM in 2010.
 
He also obtained his Advance Management and Leadership certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts, Boston, USA, in June 2014 where he is now an alumni member.  In 2017, he further obtained another Advanced Management Program certificate from IMD.
 
In his present capacity as a council member of the Malaysia Investment Banking Association, he represents MIBA to the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF)'s Charter Governing Panel since November 2019.
